What you'll do

• Welcome patients
• prepare patients and exam rooms
• verify patient information and record medical history and vital signs
• assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• prepare specimens and perform basic on-site laboratory tests
• administer medications, draw blood, take electrocardiograms, remove sutures, and change dressings as described
• educate patients
• document examinations, treatment, and test results
• support billing and insurance inquiries
• maintain supplies and equipment
• assist with referrals and tracking labs, radiology, and EKGs
• give immunizations and injections per provider directive.

Why this role

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and CPR certification required; Spanish language ability preferred; 1–3 years of medical-office or healthcare experience preferred.
