The Support Teacher, Early Childhood role is onsite in South Elgin, IL. Pay is $15–$16 per hour. The teacher supports children and classroom learning at Primrose School of South Elgin. The role helps create a safe, engaging environment where children learn through purposeful play. Working with a co-teacher and the Balanced Learning curriculum, the Support Teacher builds relationships and supports children’s social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with children
• help children explore, develop motor skills, and grow vocabulary
• work with a co-teacher to implement Balanced Learning lesson plans
• maintain a classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions
• adapt teaching to what works best for each child.
