The role works with business and technical teams to make data discoverable and trustworthy, clarify ownership, and embed governance practices that remain useful as data and assignments evolve.

What you'll do

• Lead planning and implementation of data governance initiatives
• configure and administer Microsoft Purview for cataloging, discovery, classification, and continuous governance
• develop and maintain governance policies, standards, and procedures
• oversee data catalogs, business glossaries, classification, and lineage
• work with data owners, stewards, and cross-functional teams to strengthen data quality
• establish ownership, stewardship, and accountability processes
• improve discovery across cloud and on-premises sources
• track adoption metrics
• provide strategic guidance
• document frameworks and processes
• facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops through decisions.
