What you'll do

• Assess and treat communication disorders
• evaluate speech, language, and swallowing difficulties
• identify client goals
• create and carry out individualized treatment plans
• teach clients to improve sounds, voice, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure
• support swallowing function
• counsel clients and families
• complete evaluations, therapy, and case management.
