The role works closely with operations to reduce downtime, support changeovers, and ensure all work is completed safely around chemicals. It involves hands-on mechanical and basic electrical work in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and provide timely repairs.
• Operate machine-shop and hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Document work orders and findings.
• Set up, take down, and relocate process and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
• Communicate status and parts needs to supervision.
• Follow all Health & Safety, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, and PPE requirements.
