Training Manager

The Training Manager role is onsite in Waldorf, Maryland, with regular travel among Planned Parenthood of Maryland health centers across the state. Compensation is $75,000–$90,000 per year. The role supports clinical training for non-licensed clinical support staff, primarily Medical Assistants, across seven health centers and telehealth operations. The manager designs and evaluates standardized, competency-based training, supervises Health Center Trainers, and develops a site-based preceptor network. The work aims to build consistent clinical skills, support new-hire onboarding and retention, and maintain patient-centered care standards across the organization.

What you'll do

• Develop curricula, facilitator guides, simulation scenarios, and skills assessments
• supervise, schedule, and coach Health Center Trainers
• establish and support a preceptor program
• manage clinical onboarding milestones and a skills matrix
• create remediation plans and track training metrics
• update materials as workflows, technology, or regulations change
• partner with health center managers, HR, quality, compliance, and clinical leadership.
