Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

The Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $30–$31 per hour. The listing offers a day shift of five 8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, or a night shift of five 8-hour shifts, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; the assignment is 13 weeks. The role supports safe patient care by preventing the spread of infection, illness, and disease. The technician processes and decontaminates instruments, disinfects and distributes supplies, and performs equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed. Following sterilization procedures and applicable regulations supports the department’s functionality and patient safety.
