Special Education Teacher — Elementary Resource Setting

The Special Education Teacher role is onsite in Rio Rico, AZ, working with elementary students in a resource setting. Pay is $38–$45 per hour. Schoolforce Solutions supports school-based staffing and provides a relationship manager for the assignment. The teacher delivers a district-approved core program, plans instruction, and provides support aligned with students’ individual education plans or 504 behavior plans. The role contributes to student learning and classroom safety through instruction and behavioral assistance, individually or in small groups.

What you'll do

• Provide a district-approved core program for special education students
• plan curriculum, lessons, teaching methods, and programs
• maintain a learning-conducive classroom
• protect students and classroom materials
• support student conduct and classroom order
• assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral assistance according to IEPs or 504 behavior plans.
