What you'll do

• Provides professional nursing care for residents.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles.
• Performs testing to evaluate data reflective of resident's status.
• Recognizes problems, recommends solutions, and responds effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensures health, comfort, and safety of residents.
• Contributes to resident assessment and administers medications or treatments.
• Documents resident interactions.
• Counsels residents, family members, or advocates on treatment plans.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN.
