What you'll do

• Collect, label, and prepare blood specimens
• perform venipunctures and finger sticks
• maintain logs and file reports
• assist lab or nursing staff within limits and under clinic nurse supervision
• verify patient identity and test requisitions
• track specimens
• perform glucose and bleeding-time tests and report results as described
• follow quality-control and safety procedures
• and resolve unusual test orders with relevant clinical or laboratory personnel.

Why this role
