What you'll do

• Execute and optimize microbiology protocols for nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and next-generation sequencing in a high-throughput lab
• follow SOPs
• collaborate with engineers and leadership to validate microbial DNA stabilization, extraction, and purification systems
• coordinate intake and processing of partner samples
• design and conduct experiments with scientific leadership
• document work and follow quality management systems
• communicate progress, results, and risks.
