Job overview

The Controller role is fully onsite at the corporate office in Shreveport, LA. Compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year. The Controller leads accounting and reporting processes, safeguards financial data and company assets through internal controls, and supports accurate billing and revenue reconciliation. What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• coordinate internal and external audits, including accreditation reviews
• prepare financial statements, board reports, and ad hoc analyses
• establish and maintain internal controls
• oversee inventory costing, capitalization, and depreciation for durable medical equipment assets
• manage hospice contract billing and revenue reconciliation
• supervise, train, and mentor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accounting staff.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and five or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience. CPA or CMA is preferred; extended hours may be needed during close, audits, or accreditation reviews.
