Job overview

The Support & Recovery Advocate – Weekday role is onsite in Ellensburg, WA, providing in-home and community support. Pay is $18.50 per hour. The role supports Kittitas Interactive Management clients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The advocate helps clients build personal independence and work toward goals in their therapist’s treatment plan. By supporting daily safety, individualized activities, emotional and behavioral regulation, and community participation, the role contributes to clients’ progress toward leaving the Community Protection program.

What you'll do

• Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions for health and safety
• transport clients to activities and appointments or arrange transportation
• complete forms, reports, and caseload data sheets
• coordinate individualized programs and document activities
• support emotional and behavioral regulation techniques in individual plans
• follow therapist treatment plans and goals
• assist with money management
• communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and the nurse delegator
• administer and document medications if applicable.
