The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Roseville, CA. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. The position supports Sacramento Ear, Nose & Throat’s specialty clinic, whose mission is to provide state-of-the-art specialty medical care in a personal, compassionate manner. The assistant supports providers with patient care and clinic operations by greeting patients, recording histories and vital signs, assisting with examinations, maintaining instruments and exam rooms, scheduling appointments, and updating electronic health records. The role helps patients use clinic services and supports coordinated care with the clinical team.

What you'll do

• Greet patients, take medical histories, and explain procedures
• measure and record vital signs
• assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• sterilize instruments and maintain exam-room sanitation
• schedule appointments, manage phone lines and faxes, check messages, and maintain electronic health records and patient files
• coordinate with back-office staff.
