What you'll do

• Round through the Emergency Department to oversee patient flow
• coordinate patient placement and movement into and out of the department
• liaise with Bed Management, providers, nursing, ancillary staff, case management, environmental services, EMS, and other departments
• monitor the tracking board
• provide throughput feedback and huddles
• participate in improvement projects and emergency preparedness
• support patient and family communication.
