What you'll do

• Facilitate patient flow and assist the doctor with preliminary testing
• interview patients and record medical history, medications, and visit purpose
• enter information in electronic medical records
• perform eye observations and diagnostic tests, including dilation, refraction, pressure testing, visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, autorefractor, and topography
• prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
• clean and stock assigned rooms
• document visits and procedures.
