CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Rapid City, SD, and pays $45,000–$60,000 per year. The machinist supports RPM Solutions’ manufacturing of components for customer orders and inventory. The role sets up, operates, programs, troubleshoots, and optimizes multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, while also inspecting, assembling, and packaging components. It contributes to safe production and quality assurance through part inspections, documentation, and evaluation of returned components.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, program, troubleshoot, and optimize 5-axis CNC mills and 2- to 4-axis CNC lathes
• generate programs manually, at the machine, conversationally, and with CAD/CAM software
• manufacture and assemble products safely
• inspect parts before, during, and after processing using CMM and other measuring tools
• maintain inspection documentation
• prepare returned components for evaluation and inspection
• participate in training and safety programs.
