The Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Nocturnist role is onsite in Glendale, AZ. Compensation is not specified. The position provides overnight coverage for Advanced Women’s Care’s growing Glendale practice. The nocturnist extends the daytime OB/GYN team’s care overnight, managing urgent obstetric and gynecologic needs and supporting continuity for established patients. The physician works with certified nurse midwives, hospital-based OB/GYN hospitalists, and other hospital care professionals, with structured morning handoffs to the daytime team.

What you'll do

• Provide overnight obstetric and gynecologic coverage
• manage labor and delivery, obstetric triage, and postpartum patients
• evaluate urgent and emergent concerns, including high-risk labor and postpartum complications
• perform vaginal and operative deliveries when clinically appropriate
• provide gynecologic consultations as assigned
• collaborate with CNMs and hospital teams
• document care and provide morning handoffs. Coverage includes 14-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, averaging two shifts per week
• remote coverage requires a maximum 30-minute response time.
