The Independent Living Skills Instructor role is an onsite, part-time position in West Sacramento, CA. Pay is $20 per hour. Journey to Thrive ILS provides services intended to help people with developmental disabilities build skills and independence in their communities.

What you'll do

• Provide Independent Living Skills instruction in clients’ homes and community settings
• develop and implement individualized service plans
• teach budgeting, cooking, personal hygiene, and community navigation
• document progress
• coordinate with regional centers, families, and support teams
• and transport or accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed. Advocate for client rights and self-determination.
