What you'll do

• Assess patients' physiological and psychological health

• implement nursing actions and transfer patients according to the plan
• provide needed equipment and supplies
• perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
• administer prescribed drugs and solutions
• monitor patients during the perioperative phase
• evaluate patients and care effectiveness
• respect patient rights
• support staff as a resource
• participate in orientation and meetings
• follow OSHA precautions, AORN/ASPAN practices, and Center policy.

Why this role

Requires a current Indiana nursing license and CPR certification (or certification upon orientation completion). ACLS is required within one year; PALS is required within one year for PACU and Phase II RNs. Two years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
