What you'll do

• Review menus

• prepare alternatives for residents’ needs and preferences
• follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• use standardized recipes
• serve food at the proper temperature and in an attractive manner
• maintain and file menus
• make and record only authorized menu changes.

Why this role

Six months of large-quantity food preparation experience is required; therapeutic-diet experience and ServSafe or other applicable food-safety certification are preferred. Minimum tenth-grade education; high school diploma or GED preferred.
