Dental Assistant — Oral Surgery

What you'll do

• Assist oral surgeons with extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures
• prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials
• maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control and OSHA standards
• assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation within authorized scope
• monitor and document vital signs as directed
• support patient preparation and recovery
• take authorized dental radiographs
• and clean and maintain instruments and equipment.
