What you'll do

• Compare shipment contents with manifests, invoices, or orders
• record shipment data and discrepancies
• prepare work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
• resolve shipment issues with establishment representatives
• pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping
• coordinate with carriers
• route materials to departments
• requisition and store shipping supplies
• determine shipping methods, routes, and rates
• calculate shipping and storage charges
• lift up to 75 pounds.
