What you'll do

• Provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom
• plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities using Kiddie Academy curriculum standards
• encourage learning through play and exploration
• support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• observe and document progress and milestones
• communicate with parents
• maintain positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• comply with licensing regulations and academy policies
• maintain an organized classroom
• supervise children during classroom activities, playground time, meals, and rest
• assist with toileting, handwashing, and meal routines
• participate in meetings, training, and professional development
• respond to emergencies and child-related incidents as needed.
