What you'll do

• Inspect or coordinate inspections of vehicles and equipment
• develop preventive maintenance schedules
• schedule repairs with mechanics or vendors
• troubleshoot basic issues and coordinate repairs or replacements
• maintain service, warranty, and inspection records
• remove unsafe equipment from service
• maintain registrations and insurance documentation
• support DOT, OSHA, and other applicable compliance
• monitor pre-use inspections and load securement
• assign equipment to crews
• respond to breakdowns
• coordinate backup equipment
• track fuel, maintenance, and repair costs
• maintain inventory and prepare weekly reports.

Why this role

Requires 3–5 years of fleet, equipment, or maintenance management experience, mechanical aptitude, and working knowledge of trucks, trailers, mowers, and skid steers. A commercial driver’s license is required only if assigned driving duties involve vehicles that require one.
