Companion Caregiver

The Companion Caregiver role is onsite in Watertown, MA, with compensation of $17–$22 per hour. Guardian Angel Senior Services seeks to help disabled or dependent individuals remain safely and comfortably in their homes. The caregiver provides household support, observes and reports changes in clients’ conditions, and maintains professional, confidential relationships. This work helps clients manage daily needs and remain in their homes with appropriate support.

What you'll do

• Follow safety standards and agency policies
• communicate concerns to the agency
• complete documentation accurately and on time
• maintain client confidentiality
• report concerns of abuse or neglect
• maintain professional therapeutic relationships
• wear required personal protective equipment
• plan, prepare, and serve meals
• shop for food and household supplies
• clean, make beds, wash dishes, and do laundry
• report changes in client condition or family situation and requests for service plan or schedule changes.
