Dance Educator

The Dance Educator role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV; compensation is $20 per hour. The Movement Dance Experience describes its work as inspiring and developing young dancers into confident, well-rounded individuals. The educator prepares and leads structured dance lessons, guides students’ technique and progress, and builds a positive classroom environment. The role contributes to student development and the studio’s classes, performances, and community of dancers and families.

What you'll do

• Prepare and lead engaging, structured, progressive dance lessons
• maintain an organized and positive classroom
• teach proper technique and performance quality
• track attendance and student progress
• provide clear feedback
• communicate studio updates to students and families
• assist with evaluations, performance preparation, recital preparation, choreography, and student placement when needed.
