Job overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) role provides onsite care in patients’ homes in Martin County, Port St. Lucie, and Fort Pierce, FL. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour. Interim HealthCare supports patients and communities through home care services. The caregiver provides one-to-one assistance that helps seniors and people with illness, injury, or chronic disease maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life at home. The role follows patient care plans and communicates changes to a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, skin and nail care, eating, and nutrition
• assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• check vital signs, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes
• follow care plans with home health nurses and aides
• observe patients and notify a supervisor of issues requiring changes to care, medication, or equipment.
