Patient Financial Advocate

What you'll do

• Respond to patient billing inquiries through clinic chats, phone, text, and email
• discuss balances and payment arrangements
• explain financial responsibility, claims, payment options, and plans
• coordinate with medical assistants
• maintain patient alerts and account information
• prepare statements and correspondence
• identify billing discrepancies
• post payments and refunds
• document interactions
• comply with HIPAA, the Privacy Act, and 42 CFR Part 2.
