What you'll do

• Maintain molds and ancillary systems
• control and store molds and components
• perform mold core and cavity changeovers
• make minor repairs using mills, lathes, and surface grinders
• requisition spare parts and maintain inventory
• request major offsite repairs
• prepare molds for production
• use hot runner systems, hydraulic cores, and blueprints
• perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• report mold status to Production and QC
• safely operate overhead cranes and tool-room hoists
• maintain tool-room equipment and housekeeping.
