The Direct Support Professional / Residential Counselor — Area Supervisor role is onsite in Oak Ridge, NJ, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $20.49 per hour on weekdays and $21.49 per hour for shifts beginning Friday at 11:00 p.m. through Sunday at 11:00 p.m. The role supports Catholic Charities’ Department for Persons with Disabilities and its group-home residents. The position provides direct residential support to help residents maintain their personal health, safety, and welfare. It combines assistance with daily living and medication, transportation, documentation, and community activities.

What you'll do

• Assist or supervise residents with personal care, cleaning, cooking, and life skills
• administer or assist with medication
• communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and residents
• drive residents to and from day programs and community activities using agency vehicles
• document services daily
• participate in community-based activities.
