Job overview

The Elastic Security Information and Event Management Platform Engineer is an onsite role in Fort Belvoir, VA, with a target salary range of $170,000–$210,000 per year. The engineer supports TekSynap’s prime contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and its cyber defense platform migration and operations.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, configure, upgrade, and sustain Elastic Stack environments
• support migration of data sources, searches, dashboards, detections, alerts, and workflows from Splunk
• build and troubleshoot ingest pipelines and data lifecycle policies
• monitor and tune cluster health and performance
• implement access and data protection controls
• develop dashboards, detection rules, and threat-hunting content
• integrate security technologies
• support disconnected and classified environments
• document solutions and provide knowledge transfer.
