Lead Teacher, Infant Classroom

The Lead Teacher, Infant Classroom role is onsite in Columbia, SC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $16–$17 per hour, based on experience. The teacher supports infants’ early development and partners with families and the classroom team. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing classroom and leads age-appropriate learning experiences while supporting daily care routines. Observing and documenting developmental milestones helps guide children’s progress and classroom support.

What you'll do

• Create and implement age-appropriate learning experiences
• maintain a safe, clean, organized, and nurturing classroom
• support feeding, diapering, and transitions
• build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• observe and document developmental milestones and classroom progress
• model professionalism, leadership, and teamwork
• obtain or be willing to obtain the South Carolina Health & Safety Certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
