Certified Medication Technician

Job overview

Compensation is $19–$22 per hour. Certified Medication Technician is an onsite role at an assisted living community in Henrico, VA, with 7 a.m.–3 p.m. and 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shifts listed. Discovery Management Group manages senior living communities and serves residents nationwide. The role combines resident support with medication assistance and documentation. The technician monitors residents, supports activities of daily living, reports changes or concerns, and helps maintain a safe and comfortable community environment.

What you'll do

• Check on assigned residents
• observe, report, and document changes in condition
• respond to call bells and security systems
• assist with continence care, meals, hygiene, activities of daily living, and laundry
• assist with medication passes and treatments using the medication observation record and Six Rights
• document doses and refusals
• report concerns
• restock and maintain medication carts and rooms
• take and record vital signs.
