What you'll do

• Review and prosecute assigned misdemeanor and felony cases
• monitor investigations and prepare subpoenas, warrants, and charging documents
• research and brief legal issues and motions
• interview and prepare witnesses
• negotiate with defense counsel
• appear in court and try cases
• prepare appeals and other legal documents
• advise and represent City-County officials and agencies on assigned matters
• handle hearings involving mental health commitments and juvenile proceedings
• liaise with law enforcement.
