The Local CDL Route Driver is an onsite, full-time role based in Grand View, ID, with Waste Connections. The pay is $25.00 per hour. This role supports Hardin Sanitation, a company dedicated to solid waste collection. The role exists to safely operate an automated garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to disposal sites. The driver works independently, performs routine vehicle maintenance, and delivers excellent customer service while following all safety policies and procedures.

What you'll do

• Safely operate an automated garbage truck
• Collect solid waste
• Read route sheets
• Perform routine vehicle inspection and maintenance
• Perform physically demanding tasks
• Operate hydraulic hand controls
• Clean up waste spills
• Complete daily reports.
