The role prepares and serves menu items safely and on time, following standardized recipes and sanitation procedures. It helps maintain food quality, safe storage, and an orderly kitchen while supporting residents’ dining needs.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menus and standardized recipes under the food services director
• portion and serve food
• follow safety and sanitation standards and cleaning schedules
• prepare meals at specified times
• respond to dining-room concerns
• clean and store dishes, utensils, equipment, and food areas
• label and date stored food
• handle food to prevent contamination and reduce cost
• suggest menu or recipe changes to use leftovers and supplies.
