Experienced Caregiver — Afternoon Home Care

The Experienced Caregiver role is an onsite private-home assignment in the Bellevue/Nashville, TN area. Care is requested seven days per week for approximately three hours each afternoon, with possible shifts of 1:00–4:00 PM, 2:00–5:00 PM, or 3:00–6:00 PM. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. Delora Care, a Helping Hearts Company, provides nonmedical personal support in the client’s home. The caregiver helps an adult recovering at home after an orthopedic procedure remain safe and as independent as possible. The work emphasizes fall prevention, mobility assistance, attentive personal support, and reliable communication and documentation.

What you'll do

• Assist with safe ambulation and transfers, including gait belt use when required
• keep the walker within reach
• provide standby assistance for shower entry and exit
• prepare dinner
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• retrieve household items
• provide grocery shopping and approved errands
• water plants and assist with basic pet care
• document services in WellSky Personal Care and promptly report changes or safety concerns.
