The Class A Truck Driver role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. The stated pay is $28 per hour. The driver supports Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley and Northern Nevada by transporting merchandise among stores, Donation Express centers, donation trailers, and plant headquarters. The role exists to move merchandise and supplies safely and reliably across assigned locations. It contributes to the organization’s distribution operations through vehicle inspections, accurate logs, loading and unloading, communication with dispatch, and safe handling of vehicles and goods.

What you'll do

• Transport, load, and unload merchandise to stores, Donation Express centers, donation trailers, and plant headquarters
• perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• report repair needs
• maintain driver logs and submit required reports
• load supplies and secure merchandise
• fuel vehicles and document fueling
• communicate with dispatch
• assist warehouse staff with load preparation, salvage, documentation, and cleaning
• follow safety and security procedures.
