The Special Education Paraprofessional role is onsite at Hershey Elementary School in Hershey, PA, following the academic calendar on student days. Compensation is $21.15 per hour. CCRES partners with Derry Township School District to provide educational and behavioral health services for students and schools. The paraprofessional supports individual students or small groups with instruction, behavior, and physical assistance under the direction of the classroom teacher and building principal. The role helps students participate in classroom activities, build organizational and social skills, and make progress with daily learning and self-care needs.

What you'll do

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical assistance to an individual student or small group
• prompt students to stay on task and support social and self-care skills
• work on organizational skills
• guide students in activities and monitor progress
• follow direction from the classroom teacher and building principal.
