Research & Development CAD and Motorcycle Engineering Technician

Job overview

The Research & Development CAD and Motorcycle Engineering Technician role is onsite in Carson City, NV, with an hourly pay range of $17–$18. The role supports GBrakes, a motorcycle brake-products business operated by GIOCAR AMERICA INC. The technician turns motorcycle fitment and product questions into drawings, specifications, and documented findings. The work combines CAD design, measurement, hands-on motorcycle inspection and assembly, warranty analysis, prototype support, and technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
• measure and reverse-engineer supplied parts
• assist with motorcycle disassembly, inspection, installation, fitment checks, troubleshooting, and reassembly
• research applications and verify fitment data
• inspect warranty returns and document findings
• respond to technical inquiries
• support test fitting, basic fabrication, and product improvements.
