Compensation is $35–$52 per year. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Casual is an onsite role based in Brainerd, MN. , with a range of $34.96 - $52.44 per hour. This role supports the Speech Therapy department at St. Joseph's Medical Center, part of Essentia Health. This position evaluates, plans, and treats patients in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. The SLP works as part of a care team to improve patient abilities and ensure optimal clinical outcomes under the direction of management and referring physicians.

What you'll do

• Provides therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment, patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patients.
• Provides all ancillary/administrative requirements for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative duties.
• Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff.
• Complies with organization code of conduct.
• Meets professional organization core values, code of ethics, &or scope of practice.
