Business Development Assistant – Events & Auction Previews

The Business Development Assistant – Events & Auction Previews role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with responsibilities that include national support. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. The role supports Heritage Auctions’ gallery events, auction previews, external events, sponsorships, and marketing initiatives. The assistant coordinates event logistics and maintains lists, databases, client information, reports, and presentations. This work helps the business development team organize events and outreach, track leads and activity, and support communication with clients and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Manage guest attendance, new customer account, and database information
• provide administrative support for client accounts
• coordinate gallery logistics for events and auction previews
• align calendars and logistics with Operations and Consignment Directors
• assist with special events, outreach campaigns, post-event lead tracking, and ROI reporting
• greet guests at previews and events
• prepare quarterly business development reports
• support mailings, proposals, and presentations.
