What you'll do

• Work with pumps, gears, sprockets, pulleys, bearings, seals, piping, and chemicals
• occasionally work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• collaborate with mechanical engineers and researchers
• follow plant safety and environmental procedures
• participate in safety meetings and audits
• troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment
• maintain housekeeping standards
• complete repairs to specifications
• document findings and job status
• work independently as needed.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience, or one year plus two years of technical-school training or relevant military experience. Normal schedule is 8-hour days, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; nights and weekends may be needed.
