The Manual Lathe Machinist role is onsite in North Ridgeville, OH, on first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay is $28–$35+ per hour, depending on experience. The machinist reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor and supports machine-shop production. The role exists to produce large-diameter precision components through accurate turning operations. By setting up and operating lathes, monitoring material behavior, and inspecting parts against tight tolerances, the machinist contributes to quality and efficient production.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual lathes for complex turning operations on parts 20 to 40 inches or more in diameter.
• Safely use overhead cranes to load, position, and unload heavy components.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings and use micrometers and precision measuring instruments.
• Select tools, set up equipment, and perform regular maintenance.
• Inspect parts continuously for tight tolerances, adjust speeds or feeds based on material behavior, and maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
