The Member Service Specialist, Craig County role is onsite in New Castle, VA. Compensation is $36,000–$56,000 per year. The position supports Virginia Farm Bureau’s county sales team and Craig County Farm Bureau office. The role exists to provide insurance processing, service, and sales assistance while maintaining county membership and financial records and supporting county leadership and activities.

What you'll do

• Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• process payments, claim reports, certificates, binders, correspondence, and Tier 1 policy changes
• support agents with quotes, new business, cross-selling, appointments, and product promotion
• maintain county records and financial accounting
• record transactions and make deposits
• administer membership renewals and maintain membership data
• assist with meetings and events, record minutes, and maintain minute books
• communicate with county leadership
• open and close the office
• maintain supplies and operate office systems.
