Direct Support Professional — Day Shift

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in client homes and community settings in the Cape Girardeau/Jackson, MO area. What you'll do

• Provide person-centered care in client homes and follow each client’s Individualized Service Plan
• assist with cooking, cleaning, shopping, hygiene, dressing, bathing, and specified medical-related care
• transport clients to appointments and community activities
• provide encouragement and companionship
• use de-escalation and behavior-management strategies during psychiatric crises
• document care and communication.
