Excavation and Underground Utility Sales Consultant

The Excavation and Underground Utility Sales Consultant works onsite across Blacksburg and Christiansburg, Virginia, meeting customers at project sites. Expected annual earnings are $60,000–$85,000+ through a $30,000 base salary and uncapped commission. Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup provides excavation, sewer, water-line, and underground utility services. The consultant evaluates customer projects, prepares estimates, recommends solutions, and remains involved through completion. By coordinating with customers, office staff, and field crews, the role supports successful project delivery, customer relationships, and business growth.

What you'll do

• Meet homeowners, contractors, and commercial property owners to evaluate projects
• inspect sites and gather estimate information
• present solutions for sewer lines, water services, excavation, drainage, and underground utility work
• guide customers from consultation through completion
• coordinate schedules and logistics with office staff and crews
• visit active sites to monitor progress and workmanship
• address customer questions
• build referral relationships and identify additional project opportunities.
