What you'll do

• Assign staff and distribute duties

• receive reports from charge nurses and prepare shift reports for the Director of Nursing
• communicate concerns and events requiring administrative attention
• manage and support staff
• ensure standards of patient care and appropriate delegation
• develop staff goals
• serve as a resource for nursing personnel
• direct and manage patient care
• review and revise care plans with charge nurses
• identify nursing interventions
• document and communicate plans and resident/family teaching
• maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and safety issues
• complete monthly QAPI and monitor pharmacy recommendations monthly.
