What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
• Possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation.
• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board.
